Vic: Man killed in accident at Maiden Gully
MELBOURNE, Aug 2 AAP - A man was killed when his car crashed into a tree and caughtfire near Bendigo in central Victoria today.
Police said the man, the sole occupant of the car, veered off the Calder Highway, atMaiden Gully about 6.30am (AEST).
The car burst into flames, police said.
The death takes Victoria's road toll to 209, compared to 243 at the same time last year.
