Fed: Anderson attacks oil companies over ethanol
CANBERRA, Feb 20 AAP - The federal government today took a swipe at oil companies,accusing them of hypocrisy in promoting ethanol overseas but discouraging its use in Australia.
Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson said while the government needed to move quicklyto test ethanol's impact on cars, there was a scare campaign which must be stopped.
Mr Anderson attacked oil companies for their role in the debate.
